Ms. Rahima Begum housewife who was present at the courtyard meeting from Bangaon union under Savar Upazila said that “in today's meeting, I learned about legal aid services issues, but I don't want to be harassed by going to the District legal aid office Dhaka. I will tell my neighbors and relatives so that they can get help through their helpline number 16430”.
Mr. Md. Abdul Kader Molla, Chairman of Gangutia Union under Dhamrai Upazila said “Poor people from my union are getting legal aid services through the Legal Aid Committee and we are holding these meetings regularly. Since the Union Council will announce the election schedule in the future, we who are the chairman members will be much busier. We will continue to hold regular legal aid meetings. Not only will the people get Legal Aid services at the Union Parishad, we will also personally inform them about the law. We will arrange for them to be sent to the District Legal aid office Dhaka”.
